Whatever type of music you liked, if you were a guitarist in the mid 1980s you couldn’t possibly be unaware of the presence and staggering influence of Yngwie Malmsteen. And when Fender began issuing its first signature model Stratocasters in 1988, it was no surprise at all that an authorised Malmsteen Strat would come at the beginning of the line.

My Thoughts

First things first the scalloped neck isn't for everyone, me included i find it uncomfortable and awkward however you can't fault the build on this guitar I just think it would have been nicer if only the top frets were scalloped and not the entire fretboard.
