The Charvel 475 Special is part of the Charvel Classic Series. It was available from 1989 until 1991. The last year it was called the Charvel 475 Deluxe. The 1989 Charvel Catalog states that it's a Custom version of the Charvel 375 Deluxe. It has active electronics with an HSS pickup configuration.

My Thoughts

The story goes that only 300 of the exclusive Platinum sparkle guitars were ever made, don't know how true that is but it is one stupidly beautiful guitar to look at and play, if there was only 300 then there's a lot of people missing gout on playing this guitar.
